Exercise Physiology and Dietician!

See a GP today to find out if you are eligible for an Enhanced Primary Care referral. This referral covers 5 consultations annually to see our Exercise Physiologist or Dietician. Our exercise physiologist provides lifestyle change and exercise programs to treat and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and back pain. Our dietician will assess and recommend a nutrition plan to suit your goals.

Billing

Bulk Billing is provided for all Medicare patients 5 days a week.

Private Billing - $70 if consultation < 20mins, $120 if consultation > 20mins
Consultations

We accept both walk-ins and appointments, however, appointments take priority except in the case of emergencies.

Long appointments, those greater than 20mins, are available for minor surgeries, pap smears, pre-employment exams, workcover consults and complicated medical issues. These are to booked in advance and advise reception that a long appointment is required.

Home Visits

Dr Mahajan provides home visits to regular patients. Please call the practice number for details on how to obtain a home visit at a minimum fee of $250.00

After Hours Care

Our Practice is registered for all patients of our medical staff to be able to use the Sydney Medical Co-Operative Services Home GP’s, From the time we close to the opening time the next day they will provide you with a GP service. call 1300 HOME GP (1300 4663 47)

Referrals
-
Pathology referrals are sent to Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology, they are on-site Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am-1pm, and collect from the practice every afternoon for drop off samples. Contact them on-site on 9899 5168.

Radiology referrals are sent to Norwest Medical Imaging. Located in Meridian Place, Bella Vista. They are open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Sat 8am-12pm. Contact them on 1300 339 729.

EPC referrals can be given to a Exercise Physiologist and/or Dietician. The Exercise Physiologist works every second Monday 1pm-2.30pm. The Dietician works every second Friday 1pm-5pm.
